Robin Hood
THE HEROIC OUTLAW

Robin Hood is a legendary heroic outlaw and one of the best-known tales of English folklore during the 14th century. The origins of the legend, as well as the historical context, have been debated for centuries and his true existence remains a mystery to this day. According to the legends, he was a highly skilled archer and swordsman dressed in Lincoln green. Robin Hood was a true philanthropist, who robbed the rich to give to the poor. Together with his group of bandits, known as the Merry Men, they lived in Sherwood Forest. In our days, the term "Robin Hood" is often used to describe a heroic outlaw or a rebel against tyranny.
