King Arthur

According to the legends, Arthur was the King of Britain during the 5th century. He is also the central figure in medieval literary tradition known as the Matter of Britain. Arthur, obtained his throne when, as a boy, he was the only one, who managed to pull out the magical sword, Excalibur, from the stone. He is well remembered for his legendary Knights of the Round Table and for uniting the people of his land. The center of his Kingdom was Camelot, a mythical castled city and home of the Round Table. A true legend, who killed giants, witches and monsters and led his army on glorious adventures including the mythical quest for the Holy Grail.
