Leprechaun
IRISH FAIRY

According to the legends, Leprechauns (A leprechaun means “a very small body”) are little creatures known for their trickster nature, yet harmless to people. They’re among Celtic mythology’s most famous creatures deeply rooted in the Irish culture. Leprechauns live in remote places creating shoes and brogues, are very clever, and have a great desire for gold which they hide at the end of the rainbow. They are often depicted as little bearded men, with green clothing and big hats, and their association with the colour made them a very popular costume during St. Patrick’s Day. It’s also said that they have magical powers, and if you’re fortunate to catch one, they can grant you a wish. Although leprechauns belong to folktales and mythology, some people still believe that these lovely creatures live in Ireland’s vast green landscapes. Have you seen any?
